Early Childhood Education Certificate OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATE Math and Sciences Division The Child Development Certificate program provides students with an Occupatonal Certificate needed for GreatStart. This certificate leads into the two-year AAS Degree for Child Development.
All students in the program must go through a background check as required by the Department of Children and Family Services. Additionally, a physical exam proving the student is free of communicable disease, including tuberculosis, and physical or mental conditions which could affect his or her ability to perform assigned duties is required.
