Library Services :
Circulation
The Circulation staff is responsible for issuing library cards to all new patrons and entering their information into the Shawnee Library System data base. Circulation staff assists patrons with searching the online card catalog to locate library materials on the shelves. All books, videos, DVDs, CDs, reserve material etc. are checked out at the Circulation Desk. If resources on a subject are not available in the RLC collection, Circulation staff will help patrons place holds on items available at other libraries so the resources can be borrowed from the holding library.
Collaborative Learning/Instruction Lab

Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service is provided so that users may have access to material that is unavailable at the Rend Lake College Learning Resource Center. Interlibrary loan provides students and staff of Rend Lake College the ability to borrow over 1 million items via the Shawnee Library System, I-Share, or OCLC.
